Vinesh Kolpe

Vinesh Kolpe brings over 25 years of leadership experience across PBMs, providers, payers, and ACOs, with a proven track record in driving value-based care and Population Health programs. His work has consistently delivered measurable outcomes—reducing costs, improving Medical Loss Ratios (MLR), enhancing STAR ratings and HEDIS scores, and achieving quality benchmarks for gainshare initiatives.

Vinesh’s accomplishments include building the nation’s largest PBM data lake—recognized in an AWS case study for managing a tenfold membership surge—spearheading behavioral health carve-outs in four states, and designing a bundled payment model that transformed orthopedic care practices across the U.S.

He holds 18 cloud certifications across all three major hyperscalers, in addition to PMP and Lean Six Sigma credentials. Vinesh earned his Bachelor’s degree from Mumbai University and a Master’s in Computer Engineering from the State University of New York (SUNY).

Prior to joining Accion Labs, Vinesh held executive roles at leading organizations including Catalyst Health (SVP & CIO), Lumeris (VP), Magellan Health, and Cigna.
